Information Regarding Recycling
In March of 2007 residents were provided a questionnaire regarding interest in a District wide recycling program. 1,162 residents responded to this questionnaire with 41% for recycling and 59% against recycling.
The Board of Directors recognizes the importance of recycling and will present this questionnaire again at a future date to see if there is an increased interest in entering into a recycling program.
Until residential recycling is available, residents interested in recycling can take paper products to any Katy ISD school or refer to Clean Water Clear Choice at www.cleanwaterways.org (click on HHW) for more recycling services.
